Soulstice played for the American Cancer Society in Santa Fe on May 10th 2008- here's what they had to say:

ANOTHER BUSY YEAR FOR SOULSTICE! - January 22, 2008

SOULSTICE had a very busy year in 2007. Our bookings surpassed last year's again.
Our thanks to all the people who recommend us and thanks for all the "Thank You" letters we receive. Keep them coming...

SOULSTICE SANTA FE PLAYS FUNDRAISERS - October 20, 2007

Soulstice enjoys playing for local fundraisers: firstly we get to contribute to organisations doing good things for our community, secondly we get to have a great time with local friends.

Soulstice was pleased to play for the third year for the " Glamour And Gauze" fundraiser at the Eldorado Hotel on October 20th 2007. This year's attendence swelled to 450 people, including local celebs: country singer Randy Travis, and actors Judge Reinhold and Wes Studi.

Comedian Bob Newhart entertained the audience of Santa Feans and after the auction there was enthiusiastic dancing up to the end of the night.

Organiser Maura Rieland had these words to say about Soulstice:
"Soulstice was once again the hit of the evening. To see so many people up dancing and enjoying themselves was truly rewarding. Your song selections for each of the sets you played was ideal. Our Gala Chair, Joan Vernick, called yesterday to tell me that she thought the music was "perfect." Just the right volume and type of music that allowed her guests to visit without having to scream over music.
Bravo!"

Soulstice prides itself on being able to change gears to play the right music for each stage of an event- big or small, background or dance party. We were happy to have contributed to such a worthy cause. We look forward to playing for the 2008 event on October 18th.

Last year Soulstice played for the NEW MEXICO MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS in Santa Fe. The event was a resounding success and a good time was had by the attendees. T

Soulstice has also played for:
Aid And Comfort,
The New Mexico Children's Association,
Big Brothers And Big Sisters Of New Mexico.
The American Cancer Society

We look forward to playing for more organisations who are helping our community and wish them all well in their efforts.

SOULSTICE SANTA FE - March 28, 2007

We've noticed a lot of bands and even businesses showing up on the internet using the name " Soulstice" recently. Our band Soulstice has been in business for over ten years and although we are used to other bands trying to imitate our format and even our marketing we would think they could be original enough to find their own name ! However as we'd rather play music than become litigious at this time we have decided to add
" Santa Fe" to our name to make it very easy for anyone to find us on the internet.
So henceforth we are " SOULSTICE SANTA FE".

FESTIVE CHRISTMAS PARTY! - December 2, 2006

Soulstice was pleased to play for a second year at prominent businessman Peter N 's wonderfully festive Christmas party at his Tesuque house on Dec 2nd.
So many people attended this year that a tent was added. Soulstice played for 5 hours until the dancers finally had enough!
N.M. Governor Bill Richardson enjoyed the band and asked when could the band play a function for him which they will be happy to do in the near future.
The party was a wonderful and generous start to the holiday season,
thanks Peter.

P.S. Soulstice was booked for Peter's Christmas party for 2007 the day after the party.

" Glamour and Gauze" at the Scottish Rite Temple on October 21st.
SOULSTICE provided the music again.
Attendance was way up to around 400 people this time and the mood was celebratory as guests enjoyed themselves dining, bidding on the auction items and of course dancing to SOULSTICE.
Aside from providing everyone a memorable evening the event was hugely successful, raising $125,000 for the emergency room extension.
Film actor and musician Wes Studi and his wife, singer Maura Studi, joined SOULSTICE to jam on stage.
A great night was had by all.

SOULSTICE was happy to see old friends enjoying themselves on the dance floor and make new friends.

St. Vincents Hospital Fundraiser - 2005

Santa Fe
" Gauze and Glamour" was the title of a wonderful fund-raising
auction / dinner / dance organized by the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation and held at the Scottish Rite Temple. Over 300 doctors, staff, patrons and supporters of the hospital gathered in gowns and tuxedos to celebrate, wine, dine and dance in a good cause Saturday night. New Mexico resident movie actors Judge Reinholt ( Beverly Hills Cop & Fast Times at Ridgemont High ) and Wes Studi ( Last Of The Mohicans ) were in attendance to lend their support.
Music was provided by local favourite band " Soulstice" and there was dancing through out the evening. At one point Wes Studi joined the band playing bass and his wife Maura joined on vocals to much applause. The evening was a splendid success, enjoyed by all.

"Dear Chris & Vicky,

Glamour & Gauze was a complete success. We sold out! And, had a sellout silent and live auction all of which netted the Hospital Foundation over $90,000 for the pediatric area of the new Emergency Department expansion and renovation. Our guests loved your music -- obvious from the number of people crowding the dance floor-- some of them staying till the last note was played.

I believe we plan to continue the dinner/dance combination as a fundraisier and hope you and your band will be available.
Thank you for helping us put on a fun evening for our guests.
